ONLINE ELECTRIC MOTOR AND TRANSFORMER DESIGN FOR SIMULATION PURPOSES

This free service started here on 30th November 2016. I could not find any other design method fulfilling the basic requirement set of "the speed, voltage, power and efficiency" for induction motors and salient-pole synchronous motors in the literature (for dc servo and cylindrical-rotor synchronous motors either; but I am not so claimful for them as they are simpler).
Please contact me if you know any other motor design method for motor SIMULATIONS fulfilling the same requirement set. But careful, do not confuse with methods giving the physical parameters like slot geometry, size, number of turns etc but not all the parameters suitable to simulate the mathematical models, and methods starting with complicated requirements for inexperienced engineers not including the set of "the speed, voltage, power and efficiency".

The following pages serve free online design tools for simulation purposes for the following motor types and transformers according to the user's requirements:

      DC servo motor design

      Induction motor design (3-phase)   

      Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) design (3-phase)

      Wound rotor synchronous motor (WRSM) design (3-phase)

      Transformer design (1 or 3-phase)

Note that this kind of designs can be different from usual physical designs. For example, in usual transformer designs, the cross sectional area of the wire is selected as proportional to their rated current; however, this design tool may give much different results from them because efficiency and what portion of the loss should be from which part are also our design criteria. You cannot satisfy these criteria fixing the current density to the same A/mm2 value. The physical design for manufacturing is partially considered just for transformers here but not considered for the motors.
